April’s almost here and warmer weather is just around the corner! While you’re getting ready to shovel your driveway for the last time, pull out your gardening gloves and deep clean your house, take a look at these ways to give your career the much-needed spring cleaning you didn’t even know it needed!
1. Time for that resume tune-up.
According to a study by LinkedIn, millennials will change jobs an average of four times in their first decade out of college. That’s a new job every 2.5 years! With all the accelerated career moves, make sure your skills, positions, and accomplishments are up-to-date on your resume.
2. Organize your desk space.
How long has it been since you’ve organized your workspace? A recent study by Reliable Plant showed that an average person “wastes 4.3 hours per week searching for paper, which increases stress and reduces concentration and creative thinking.” Yikes! Give yourself a productivity boost by organizing your paperwork and giving your desk area a good cleaning.

While we’d all like to think we’re always doing our best work, our energy levels ebb and flow depending on the day of the week.
