Marketing Communications Manager

A mid-sized law firm in downtown Boston is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager who has demonstrated drive, dedication and professionalism to join dynamic Marketing & Business Development Department. Under limited supervision this position works closely with the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and intelligent individual to work with a collaborative Marketing team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Driving the firm’s brand and content strategies through various marketing channels. 

  • Working with lawyers to develop and implement communications programs in support of the firm’s business development objectives.

  • Collaborating with outside vendors and consultants, and other internal administrators and professional staff. 


Position requires:

  • Minimum 5-7+ years of Marketing Communications experience. 

  • Law firm or other professional services experience preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

  • Very strong writing and editing skills, media savvy and ability to work with members of the firm at all levels.

  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office suite, contact management systems, social media platforms and online search tools.

  • Must be an energetic self-starter and team-player with an exemplary client service attitude. 

  • Exhibit sound judgment, excellent project management and analytical skills.

  • Will be poised and unflappable in handling interpersonal interactions. 

  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize work, meet demanding deadlines and display excellent attention to detail while remaining strategic.
