About the Role
Our client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal working with the Real Estate attorneys providing legal support. The position is a full-time, non-exempt position based in the Boston office, offering flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking for challenging paralegal work in a busy and growing real estate department with the opportunity to continue their professional development. This is a junior role, with some real estate experience preferred.
Duties and Requirements
Obtaining, preparing and/or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms.
Forming limited liability companies and other entities.
Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transactional documentation from letter of intent through closing, and participating in and attending closings.
Obtaining Registry of Deeds documentation.
Reviewing title and survey materials.
Assisting with recordings, both electronically and in-person.
Assisting with various lease documents.
Obtaining documents from various governmental agencies.
Organizing and managing electronic and paper files and ensuring that all files are maintained in accordance with department protocols and within the case management systems.
Performing legal and factual research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other websites for case law, statues, articles, books, etc.
All other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
College degree and/or a certificate in paralegal studies.
A minimum of four to five years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm preferred with an emphasis on more complex transactional work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), and the ability to learn new software programs.
Massachusetts Notary.

Must be able to travel locally for business.
Salary
$75,000 - $85,000
