About the Role

Well known Legal non-profit organization is seeking individuals with legal support experience to join a collaborative team working with attorneys and other legal professionals to uphold standards and mission. This is a great opportunity with excellent benefits and competitive salary.

This is a hybrid position, with two days in the office and three days remote per week. 

Duties and Requirements

  • Prepares documents, electronically and manually, as assigned.

  • Scans, photocopies, and files documents.

  • Processes incoming and outgoing paper and electronic correspondence.

  • Enters data into database.

  • Proofreads prepared materials for correct grammar, spelling, and format.

  • Tracks all case correspondence, emails, and events in docketing system.

  • Organizes and maintains case files electronically and manually.

  • Monitors and meets deadlines.

  • Transcribes voicemail messages.

  • Prepares cases and inventories for offsite storage.

  • Assists with exhibit and trial preparation.

  • Prepares records of proceedings for filing with the Supreme Judicial Court.

  • Screens calls and visitors for attorney(s).

All candidates will possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of two years of legal secretarial experience

  • Document and Case Management experience

  • Will demonstrate proficiency with written and oral communications skills

  • Has ability to work effectively with others

  • Has ability to build rapport within \ office, with people and communities served.

  • Transcription and proofing abilities

  • Skills with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word


$60,000–$66,000 per year
