About the Role
A mid-sized law firm in downtown Boston, is seeking a Domestic Relations & Fiduciary Litigation Docket Coordinator for its Domestic Relations Practice Group.
The newly created position will manage the dates and deadlines of the department. This role will execute with meticulous precision the processing and docketing of mail and court-related deadlines and will lead all docket-related communications to the attorneys and staff within the department. This individual must be fluent with database technology with an eye for efficiency and process improvement.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Domestic Relations and Fiduciary Litigation and the Court Case Management principles; excellent familiarity with Outlook or implemented database technology platforms; the ability to discern pertinent information from court documents to enter into the docketing database; and the ability to compile and analyze data and furnish information in report format, written correspondence, e-mail or verbally.
Duties and Requirements
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, reliable, have the ability to adapt and interact with others, be able to use various computer systems, and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates should also be able to multi-task and work independently as well as within a team environment.
Minimum 3+ years of docketing experience and prior legal experience in Domestic Relations and Fiduciary Litigation is preferred.
$60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
