Director of Legal Recruitment
Boston, MA

A mid-sized Boston based law firm, is seeking an experienced, full-time Director of Legal Recruiting to work in conjunction with our Human Resources and Professional Development teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and implement all aspects of the legal recruiting functions across all offices, including associates, summer associates, law clerks, technical specialists, patent agents, lateral partners, counsel, and groups

  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Managing Partner(s), and Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) to assess legal recruitment needs and to develop and implement recruiting strategies and goals

  • Work closely with Human Resources, Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of human resources and recruitment experience with a focus on attorneys and professional staff

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Law Degree preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft products, VI Global, and applicant tracking systems

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including effective interviewing, strong organizational and management skills

  • Leadership ability, collaborating interests, and teaching/mentoring ability

  • The ability to be a member of a collegial, supportive, and collaborative management/leadership team

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including group decision making and conflict resolution

 

Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year
