Director of Legal Recruitment

A mid-sized Boston based law firm, is seeking an experienced, full-time Director of Legal Recruiting to work in conjunction with our Human Resources and Professional Development teams.
Responsibilities:

Manage and implement all aspects of the legal recruiting functions across all offices, including associates, summer associates, law clerks, technical specialists, patent agents, lateral partners, counsel, and groups

Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Managing Partner(s), and Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) to assess legal recruitment needs and to develop and implement recruiting strategies and goals

Work closely with Human Resources, Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams
Requirements:

5+ years of human resources and recruitment experience with a focus on attorneys and professional staff

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Law Degree preferred

Proficient with Microsoft products, VI Global, and applicant tracking systems

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Highly developed interpersonal skills including effective interviewing, strong organizational and management skills

Leadership ability, collaborating interests, and teaching/mentoring ability

The ability to be a member of a collegial, supportive, and collaborative management/leadership team

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including group decision making and conflict resolution
Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year
