Accounting Assistant

Boston, MA

Seeking a highly motivated individual for a key role in Finance Department. The Accounting Coordinator works closely with project managers to capture, manage, and track project financial information.

Duties:

  • Client billing and project administration, including setting up new clients, projects, and vendors; project

  • reviews; invoicing

  • Accounts payable

  • Accounts receivable

  • Preparing activity and other administrative reports.

  • Travel and Expense (T&E) reports

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.

  • Working knowledge of accounting fndamentals

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Persistence in collecting and tracking information

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently

  • Willingness to take initiative

  • 2 + years of experience in a professional services or project-oriented accounting environment preferred (B.S. in Accounting or Finance a plus)

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: Up to $53,000.00 per year
